Working on

AI compliance — building systems that automatically assess creative work against an organisation's own brand rules. The patient, hyper-consistent reviewing that humans don't quite manage at scale, done in software, with the rules made explicit instead of trapped in someone's head. Some of this will end up here as essays.

Reading

Beyond Stoicism — picked up partly out of curiosity, partly as an antidote to the volume of unconsidered thought I encounter in a given week.

Thinking about

The future of software. Not the demo-able future — the substrate future. What stays human, what becomes cheap, what gets harder to do well precisely because it gets easier to do at all.
